Definitely worth $0.99, but not a classic
Im a big fan of button-mashing, combo-driven games and this one does not disappoint. When the screen is full of enemies, you can quickly roll from one enemy to another (or in a circle to group them together), start your assault, and roll away before they hit you :)
I only have 3 gripes: 1. The bosses are unusually difficult at times. Some require bum-rushing (and hoping they dont kill you first); while others (final boss) require you to roll around for 15 minutes waiting on your mana to refill for one big attack at a time. 2. They try to infuse variety into the mix, but the game mechanics do not support it (like jumping on a platform when there is no jump button). 3. The game feels a bit rushed. The story is very cheaply done and some of the images in the shop look like scaled-up postage stamps.
All in al, I definitely enjoyed the game, and I will probably pick it up and play a stage or two every so often on the harder difficulties.
